Never-Ending Assignments !

So once it hits March/April, that's when the stress of assignments and exams begin ..

But I've ALWAYS been a last minute person, so even though I've had two weeks Easter holiday and was at home two weeks prior to that thanks to my illness, I'm only deciding to start my assignments now. Why oh why I have no idea.

But recently I've just been either at work, asleep or reading and writing notes for my essay. Anything else has pretty much been put on hold :(

So I've been trying to get back into reading books on my journeys to work and uni rather than just listening to my iPod.
I scrolled through Amazon and got these two books which I'm currently reading;

Karl Pilkington - An Idiot Abroad: The Travel Diaries of Karl Pilkington.

After buying the boxset of An Idiot Abroad, I was amazed at how plain hilarious Karl Pilkington is, and how unaware he is of it. So I got this book and it feels like I'm actually reading his diary or what not because of the way it is written, it is exactly how he talk !

Noam Chomsky - Failed States

Someone recommended this book to me as it gave an independent view on countries such as America and their use of power vs. the rest of the world. I'm currently half-way through this book and find it eye-opening to see an American question his own countries motives in many issues that have occurred in the last decade.

Beyonce - Heat

This is my new favourite perfume ! I'm not so great describing fragrances so on The Perfume Shop website it  states - "A sensual combination of almond macaroon, honeysuckle nectar and creme de musk". But I agree that it does make you feel all feminine.
I bought it on the CheapSmells website and it was only £18.90 for 100ml which is a bargain !

A Few Bits and Pieces ..

So I recently went to Oxford St and had a splurge and bought things I've needed for ages and things I personally don't know how it ended up in my shopping basket but purchased anyways.

So here are some things I got;

Primark

I thought this was so cute and 'kiddish-like' and it was only £6, so thought I might as well.
It would go great with skinny jeans and converses !

Topshop

This is one of those essentials that you need in your wardrobe. I wear it with either leggings (as the back just about covers your bum) or skinny jeans :)
I purchased it for £9 as I got £1 off with student discount (originally £10)

Forever21

When I first saw this in the store, twas love at first sight !
Can't even remember how much it was but I had to buy it because I used to love Diet Coke over everything. Now I don't drink dark fizzy drinks anymore (this is becoming a little bio and going off the subject LOL)
.. But yeah, love love love.

 New Look

This was on sale in New Look for £3 and I thought 'I might as well buy it!'. Even though its not the most fabulous and stylish top, its something I would wear at home with leggings, as its quite baggy rather than just hanging around all day wearing pjs :)

Hello Blogging World !

Well hello there blogging world !

I thought it was time for me to join and share my life ..
It will kind of be like my little scrapbook of things I've bought and that I'm loving, things I dislike, and just pure gossip

So here goes ..
